Structure and attributions of the Chamber of Deputies

Standing Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies The Standing Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies shall have the following attributions:
  1. it shall propose to the Chamber the date of commencement and the date of closure of parliamentary sessions;
  2. it shall ask the president of the Chamber to convene an extraordinary session;
  3. it shall submit to the Chamber of Deputies, for approval, its regulations, as well as proposals for amendments;
  4. it shall submit to the Chamber of Deputies, for approval, its draft budget and the account of budget year closure;
  5. it shall prepare and make sure the proceedings of the Chamber of Deputies take place under proper conditions;
  6. it shall receive and distribute draft laws, legislative proposals, and reports of the parliamentary committees, in the sequence of their submittal to the registry office of the Chamber of Deputies, unless the Chamber plenum decides otherwise;
  7. it shall prepare the draft agenda of the Chamber meetings and its work schedule;
  8. it shall organise the relationships of the Chamber with the parliaments of other states and parliamentary organisations based on consultations, depending on the kind of actions considered, of the Executive Committee of the Romanian Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, of parliamentary groups, of the Committee for Foreign Policy, and of other standing committees informing the Chamber of Deputies on the steps taken, including the nominal composition of delegations;
  9. it shall submit to the Chamber of Deputies, for approval, the composition of the standing delegations to world or regional parliamentary Organisations, based on consultations with the parliamentary groups and in compliance with the political configuration of the Chamber;
  10. it shall approve the list of positions and the regulations of the Chamber of Deputies services; it shall submit to the Chamber, for approval, the structure of its services;
  11. it shall run and control the Chamber of Deputies services;
  12. it shall approve the regulations on security and access of persons in the headquarters of the Chamber of Deputies;
  13. it shall comply with any other attributions stipulated in the present regulations, other provisions of the law, or assignments given by the Chamber of Deputies.
