Message of Chairman-in-Office of the Parliamentary Dimension of the SEECP

Dear friends,
It was with great honour and pleasure that I took over the mandate of Chairman-in-Office of the Parliamentary Dimension of the SEECP, which is undergoing a process of transformation into a parliamentary assembly.
I strongly believe that inter-parliamentary cooperation could significantly help enhancing the opportunities offered by South-Eastern Europe, a space whose remarkable cultural richness and great development potential are widely acknowledged.
Setting up the SEECP Parliamentary Assembly will enable us to lay even more emphasis on the benefits of parliamentary diplomacy as a noteworthy complement to the efforts undertaken at governmental level.
The Romanian Chairmanship-in-office of the Parliamentary Dimension is committed to make a substantial contribution to the success of this project placed in the service of our citizens.
We look forward to your presence in Bucharest, deeply convinced that our reunion will be a successful one. We also hope that it will be a good opportunity to find out more about Romania.
