for the amendment and completion of Law No 544/2001 on free access to public information
The Parliament of Romania enacts this Law.
Sole Article - Law No 544/2001 on the free access to public information, published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no 663 of 23 October 2001, is amended and completed as follows:
1. A new article is included after article 11, the article 111, with the following content:
"Art. 111. - Any contracting authority, as defined by law, shall provide the individual or legal person concerned with the public procurement contracts, under the terms of Art. 7."
2. Article 12, the introductory part of paragraph (1) shall be read as follows:
"Art.12. - (1) Citizens' free access to public information, as stipulated in Art.1 and, respectively, in Art.111 shall be denied for the following:".
This law was enacted by the Parliament of Romania, with the observance of the provisions of Art.75 and Art.76(2) of the Constitution of Romania, republished.
