for the completion of Art.5 of Law No 544/2001 on free access to public information
The Parliament of Romania enacts this Law.
Sole Article - A new paragraph (5) is included after Article 5(4) of Law No 544/2001 on the free access to public information, published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no 663 of 23 October 2001, as further amended and completed, with the following content:
"(5) The public authorities and institutions shall allow the concerned persons to consult the requested privatization contracts concluded after the coming into force of this law, at their headquarters. The provisions aforementioned shall not apply to the privatization contracts, which are under the scope of the provisions of Art. 12 (1)."
This law was enacted by the Parliament of Romania, with the observance of the provisions of Art.75 and Art.76(2) of the Constitution of Romania, republished.
