until October 2002, member of the Committee for Culture, Arts, and Mass Media;
since October 2002, member of the Legal, Discipline, and Immunity Committee; member of the Special Commitee for preparing the legislative proposals stipulated under article 79 of Law no. 29/2000 on Romania's national system of decorations, and the issuance of opinions on the draft laws for the approval of the ordinances and emergency ordinances issued by the Government in this field;
since June 2001, member of the Romania-Hungary and Romania-Argentina friendship parliamentary groups, and, until June member of the Romania-Lebanon friendship parliamentary group;
initiator of the legislative proposals for amending and completing the Law no. 70/1991 on the local elections; for declaring some areas within the localities of Sarmizegetusa, Mintia- Vetei, and the Complex of the Dacian strongholds in the Orastie Mountains as archaeological reserve and national-interest public-use assets
